July's "Blues night" at Hinckley ACT.

People who "Woke up this morning" included:-

Peter Turnpenney electric lead solo guitarist (pictured on the right), opened up the evening with “The Best of Blues Music”.

Lead blues guitarist from Loughborough Terry Lewis was accompanied by a friend of the Hinckley Act Club, harmonica player and teacher, Tony Jukes from Ullesthorpe.

The second half of the concert continued with the lead guitarist of the long established “The Travelling Riverside Blues Band” John (Riverside) Alderson who demonstrated his mastery of his hand built resonator slide guitars.

Accompanying John were Ian McWee on vocals and Trevor Edwards on keyboards.

The entrance fee was only £6 - indicitive of the tremendous value-for-money entertainment that visitors to the Hinckley ACT can enjoy.
