Burbage Community Arts Festival - Guitar Heroes

Once again the Hinckley ACT hosted one of the premier events of the Burbage Community Arts Festival - this time on Friday May 15th.

Two of the Hinckley ACT's most popular performers were together on the same bill, as the annual Arts Festival returned.

Steve Hicks

Steve Hicks is a renowned finger style guitarist incorporating folk, classical, ragtime, pre-war blues, Celtic, jazz standards and contemporary composition.

He has played a bewildering number of concerts at festivals, folk clubs, guitar societies and conventions, house concerts, folk lore societies, summer schools, live radio.

Dave Kirk

Dave Kirk is the very well respected acoustic guitar instrumentalist and also singer songwriter.

His musical skills, on guitar or piano, have been borne out of many influences over the years whether it is from folk, Celtic, rock, pop or classical.

Tickets were £8 each. As this was not a Hinckley ACT event, we were not be able to offer a membership discount on this occasion.
