The Burbage Community Arts Festival came to the Hinckley Act - featuring a panoply of musicians playing a wide variety of musical styles.
We asked the musicians to describe their range and style. Jazz? Blues? Rock? Trad? Classical? R&B? Gospel? “Yes,” they said, “All that.”
Some of the highlights included:-
- The launch of 2 x new CDs by Bob Tibbetts.
- A special appearance by Kirsten May the singer and instrumentalist.
- A guest appearance by singer songwriter Paula ann Driver.
- Well-known local instrumentalist Nigel Beck.
Burbage’s newest music venue surprised first time visitors!
The quality of the facilities and friendly atmosphere proved to be very popular, ensuring that many will return on a regular basis.
An engineering business by day, an intimate musical venue by night, The Hinckley ACT is situated above The Advanced Carbide Tooling Company, on Sketchley Meadows Business Park.
