Nigel Beck, 6 & 12 String Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitarist.

Heavily influenced by the likes of Leo Kottke, Pierre Bensusan, Eric Roche and Antonio Forcione, this is fingerstyle guitar with a propulsive beat and at other times with the emotional sesitivity of the old masters.

The power of 12 strings speaking with one musical voice is an emotional experience to be savoured and enjoyed. Both original and Leo Kottke pieces are presented in a dynamic and varied way. Very different!!!

In contrast, taking a cue from Pierre B and Eric Roche, 6 string pieces are light and delicate with a hint of classical guitar, exploiting DADGAD and Dropped D tunings.

Mix all of this in with a sprinkling of both original and covered songs that will make you smile and reflect, you will feel that you have been taken on a musical journey by a compelling and entertaining performer.
