Tony Jukes and Nick Jukes

Father and son duo, Tony and Nick Jukes, have been performing together for ten years.

Tony’s repertoire includes the Blues and English and Irish traditional music. Tony (on the left in the photograph) plays in local folk clubs and has won the Blues section and been runner up in the Chromatic section of the National Harmonica League championships four times.

Since retiring, Tony has begun to teach the chromatic and diatonic harmonica locally.

Nick is reading music at the University of East Anglia, studying classical guitar with James Boyd (Norwich) and blues guitar with Steve Hicks (Leicester).

Whilst focussing primarily on classical guitar for his degree, Nick enjoys playing folk and blues guitar in his spare time, as well as playing bass guitar in various jazz ensembles.

This means Nick can draw on a wide range of influences and backgrounds to enrich his playing.
