Jamie Arkless headlined - at last!
Wednesday 10th February saw the return of Jamie Arkless (and friends) to the Hinckley ACT music club.
Jamie, from the north of England, is the host of the popular Kirby Twins Acoustic Club. The singer accompanies himself on guitar and occasionally banjo when the mood takes him.
He's played a number of floor spots at the Hinckley ACT on previous occasions, generating so much interest that we've asked him to let us hear more!
When asked for a "sneak preview" of his set he told us "I'll be playing folk songs and tunes from Britain, Ireland and America ...things by John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, Davey Graham, Bob Dylan among others..."
Booking and venue details
The entrance fee for the evening was £5 for members and £6 for non-members. The event started at 8 pm, with doors opening at 7.30 p.m.
