Vikki Clayton returned to the Hinckley ACT by popular demand

Leicestershire’s own queen of song Vikki Clayton returned to the Hinckley ACT, ably supported by the High Sierras – comprising John Montague, Martin Burch and Peter Turnpenney.

Vikki Clayton at Hinckley ACT live music in LeicestershireVikki Clayton first performed at the Hinkley ACT in September last year and proved to be such a hit that we just had to ask her back!

We asked her about her most recent venture.

"I now have a new album called Looking at the Stars. Of course I will always sing folk songs, they were my first love and the songs of Lincolnshire are very dear to my heart, and I will continue to sing Sandy's songs, they are a joy to perform but I've always known that there are many songs in me yet to be written and so this might be the path I'll be taking for a while."

Twice the entertainment value!

The evening provided even more entertainment for Leicestershire music fans, with the added bonus of an appearance from the much loved High Sierras - John Montague, Martin Burch and Peter Turnpenney.
